I don’t want to be a Nigerian anymore – Erica Nlewedim

 


Big Brother Naija star and actress, Erica Nlewedim says she no longer wants to be a Nigerian.

The Nollywood diva made the declaration in a post on her verified Twitter page while lamenting over the challenges in the country.

Erica stated that being a Nigerian comes with so much frùstration. Her statement follows two heartbreaking incidents which occurred over the past two days.

On Monday night, terrorists bombed an Abuja-Kaduna train station, abducting many passengers and leaving other with gunshot wounds, while an unconfirmed number of persons dìed as a result of the attãcks.

Also, on Tuesday night, Nigeria failed to qualify for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar following a 1-1 draw with Ghana at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja.

Taking to her Twitter account, Erica wrote; ”I really don’t want to be a Nigerian anymore, it’s so frùstrating.”

Good Samaritan narrates experience with pregnant woman he offered a lift

  A Nigerian man has narrated how he helped a pregnant woman whom he saw on the road, deliver her twin babies in his car. Sharing his experience, the man identified as Idris Yekini revealed how he got so scared after she began to scream and deliver inside his car. He said, “A woman gave birth to twins in my car. On my way to work this morning, I saw a pregnant woman standing by the road side. From the look on her face, she was in severe pain (labour pain) She must  have spent some time at the junction waiting for taxi but it seems no taxi was willing to carry her in such condition.
