I don’t want to be a Nigerian anymore – Erica Nlewedim

 


Big Brother Naija star and actress, Erica Nlewedim says she no longer wants to be a Nigerian.

The Nollywood diva made the declaration in a post on her verified Twitter page while lamenting over the challenges in the country.

Erica stated that being a Nigerian comes with so much frùstration. Her statement follows two heartbreaking incidents which occurred over the past two days.

On Monday night, terrorists bombed an Abuja-Kaduna train station, abducting many passengers and leaving other with gunshot wounds, while an unconfirmed number of persons dìed as a result of the attãcks.

Also, on Tuesday night, Nigeria failed to qualify for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar following a 1-1 draw with Ghana at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja.

Taking to her Twitter account, Erica wrote; ”I really don’t want to be a Nigerian anymore, it’s so frùstrating.”

Nigerian rapper, Olamilekan Agbeleshe aka Laycon has shared his two cents on the nominees for the 2022 Headies Awards. The reality Tv star stated that he is emotional about not being nominated, so he won’t lie that he does not desire to have an award. Laycon, in a series of tweets on Wednesday, said that he does not believe that people who receive awards are better than others, but rather sees it as a way of complimenting them for their efforts. He wrote; ”I have never been a fan of judging people with the adjective “BEST”, however I see awards as a compliment, something to tell you “Hey! we see everything you’ve done and we think you should get this for your efforts”.   Big Brother Naija star and actress,  Erica Nlewedim  was forced to board an  ‘Okada’  to the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos due to traffic on Thursday, August 18. Erica was being driven to the airport in her Range Rover when she realized she was running late and might miss her flight so she decided to take a faster means of transportation – a motorcycle. She took to her  Instastory  to share a video showing the moment she was boarding the bike with her luggage and she seemed super excited to take a bike as she was heard talking excitedly in the background. The 28-year-old reality show star also shared a video of herself while being driven on the motorcycle, and another video showing her on the flight after arriving at the airport.
