Lady reveals her dad visited for Omugwo, shares video of him making pounded yam for her

 




A Nigerian lady has revealed how her dad defied the norm and took on the role that is usually assigned to mothers when their child newly gives birth.

In a video she posted on social media, the woman said that she delivered a baby last month and her father visited her for the Omugwo rites.

According to the new mum, he decided to prepare special pounded yam and peppersoup for her.

The man could be seen in the clip pounding yam while rocking his senator native attire and another woman was also in the kitchen supporting him.

She wrote; ”I had a baby last month and my dad insisted he must make me special omugwo pounded yam and peppersoup himself.

Kitted with his senator’s wear pounding yam. Father material 1 million yards”
