Two students of the  Kwara State University (KWASU) , identified as  Tobiloba Daniel  and  Arewa Abayomi , have been found dead and naked in a hostel room. The 200-level students were reportedly found dead in Daniel’s hostel room located off campus, and they were both stark naked. A student of the institution who spoke in confidence to Daily Trust said they grew concerned when the deceased students missed an examination. The student said, “We suspect they were lovers and became concerned when they were not seen during an examination and for three days. “It was when some of their friends got to their hostel room outside the school that they found them dead and naked. We suspect it’s a case of poisoning.” The Kwara State Police Spokesperson, SP Ajayi Okasanmi, who  confirmed  the incident, said. “The information is that the two of them were found dead inside their room and the police were alerted. “Our officers pulled down the door and they were taken to the University of Ilorin Teaching

A young man identified as Samuel Owolabi has landed himself in Police Net after he sold his mother’s car without her knowledge in Lagos. According to the Police spokesperson, Ben Hundeyin, a son or daughter cannot sell their parent’s property without consent and thus, Samuel committed a crime. He added that the mother was not aware of her son’s actions and she was shocked when she was called to come pick the car.   A struggling father has been left devastated after finding out that his son, whom he had been sponsoring in medical school for 7 years, was never enrolled. A  Twitter  user,  @MrMekzy_ , who shared the story on the micro-blogging platform, said that his uncle’s son had been siphoning money from the family while pretending to be enrolled in medical school. He said that the boy successfully carried on this lie for seven years, receiving support from his father in the form of school supplies, food, and money for maintenance, until it was recently revealed that he had never been enrolled in school. According to Mr. Mekzy, the devastated father has told his son to leave the house immediately, never to return. A  Twitter  user has narrated how a Nigerian man, out of pride, refused to get a job to assist his student wife after they relocated to the UK. According to the Twitter user  @oegbe , the wife gained admission to study abroad, and the husband relocated with her as a dependant. However, since they arrived in the UK, the man has refused to get a job to assist his wife, insisting that he cannot do “anyhow” job. It was learned that the wife’s parents, who are both retirees, are responsible for paying their rent and other expenses from Nigeria, since the husband refused to work to support his student wife. The septuagenarian married a 45-year-old divorcee, Mallama Rahmat Muhammad, in Lokoja, the Kogi state capital, on Sunday, August 28.
