25-yr-old man arrested for selling his Mother’s car without her approval in Lagos


A young man identified as Samuel Owolabi has landed himself in Police Net after he sold his mother’s car without her knowledge in Lagos.

According to the Police spokesperson, Ben Hundeyin, a son or daughter cannot sell their parent’s property without consent and thus, Samuel committed a crime.

He added that the mother was not aware of her son’s actions and she was shocked when she was called to come pick the car.



Ben Hundeyin wrote:

25-year-old Samuel Owolabi was arrested in Lagos where he brought his mum’s car to sell without her consent. The mum has been contacted to come pick her car. She was shocked. Can your own son/daughter sell your property without your consent? Are you very sure the answer is a NO?





In related news, Police operatives attached to Surulere Division have rescued one Ayomide Fawehinmi ‘m’ aged 22 from a mob for allegedly stealing a child at the Empire area of Surulere.
