  The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has said the nationwide implementation of the National Identity Numbers (NIN) linkage with the Subscriber Identification Module (SIM) is yielding positive results as it is preventing bandits from using their phones.   A Nigerian man has sparked a debate after he shared his thoughts about single ladies over the age of 30. The young man identified as Moemudi on Twitter averred that there’s no unmarried lady over the age of 30 who is content with her situation. He claims that no matter how happy they appear to be without a partner, they secretly want for a husband. “There is no single lady above 30 that is happy being single. No matter how you pretend to be. Deep down husband dey hungry you”. He tweeted. His post drew a flood of reactions from women who disagreed with his point of view.   A young man has shared a video showing him interacting with his girlfriend in the kitchen after she prepared egusi soup. He wanted to take a look inside the pot but she covered it and refused to let him see what she cooked. The boyfriend asked what was wrong and she said that the soup did not solidify as expected. She then said that she may have bought fake egusi seed in the market. He tried to be supportive and asked her to let him see the pot of soup so he can correct her but she declined.   A Nigerian lady has been seen in a video being confronted by a woman over bad comments she made against her on social media. She tracked the girl down to her location and challenged her for posting negative things about her. In the clip, the girl who was in a car was begging and apologising for her actions as she noted that she has deleted the comments.  A Nigerian businesswoman and her baby miraculously survived a fatal accident that left her car damaged beyond repair. Businesswoman tearfully thanks  The woman took to her Instagram page to share a video of the totaled car and netizens couldn’t help but thank God for saving their lives. In the video, the businesswoman is seen crying profusely as she thanked God repeatedly for surviving the accident without a scratch. She captioned the video, “Everyone in my car is alive. The car finish but we nor finish.” The mother was advised to go to the hospital to check for any internal injuries since they didn’t sustain any external injuries despite the gravity of the accident, but she disclosed that they’ve done that already.

  Victory, a 27-year-old Nigerian man living in Malaysia, has dìed after allegedly plunging from the 21st floor of his condominium in Malaysia. The young man, who hails from Agbor, Delta state, is said to have jumped from his apartment at Mutiara Village (21st floor, Block F2) in Cyberjaya on Tuesday afternoon, April 19, 2022.  Although the reasons for his actions are unknown, the incident is currently being investigated by police. However, viral reports alleged that Victory was mùrdered. A Facebook user claimed the deceased was pushed off the building, and another user, Peter Rocly, who claimed to have lived in the building and witnessed the incident, also said that Victor’s deāth was a case of mùrder and he didn’t jump off as alleged.

    The Imo state police command has detained a 50-year-old man sùspected of making bombs for the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). According to police, the suspect, Simeon Onigbo, makes locally made bombs that are used to attack police divisions and other government facility in Imo. The sùspect was apprehended following a raid on the hideout of IPOB’s militia wing, according to a statement issued by police spokesman Michael Abattam on April 20. Michael Abattam disclosed that the police operatives received an intelligence report and immediately mobilized to the hideout of the terror group located at Uba Umuaka in Njaba LGA of Imo State and raided the camp. “In the course of the raid, one Simeon Onigbo ‘m’ age 50 years was arrested. On the spot interrogation, the sùspect admitted being the manufacturer of most of the Improvised Explosive Devices ( I.E.Ds) used in attacking police stations in the State and outside the State. The love story was shared by his daughter, who revealed that the man met the love of his life on Facebook in 2020 after which they tied the knot. In a video the lady, Fehin Silva shared on TikTok, she said he used to bump into her brother’s roommate whenever she visits Babcock university where they were studying. Fehin shared snapshots from their wedding which took place in 2021 and now she, her brother and his roommate are all siblings.
